    Hi,
I would be pleased to hear from some childhood friends from my time living in Rugeley, Staffordshire.

David McGregor nickname Meggie - son of Alistair & Mary McGregor and younger brother of Roddy McGregor, also Bernard (Ben) Harrison - son of Olwyn and Roy Harrison and younger brother of Andrew Harrison.

One of our pastimes was Fishing along with Swimming in The River Trent, Bird Nesting and Fighting in the Springfields Club, Rugeley.(lol)

We are former pupils of Western Springs Primary School Rugeley and used to reside on The Beeches on The Springfields Estate, Rugeley, Staffordshire.

I believe David McGregor still resides in Rugeley and may be a Supermarket Manager.
Ben Harrison, a Brother of Polly, Kerry and Francis Harrison, possibly resides in Grimsby, South Humberside and may be a local DJ.

I believe this website is powered well in Google search and with luck, they might do an internet search of their own name e.g. David McGregor Rugeley or Ben Harrison Grimsby and find this page.

    William Wallace (Braveheart)
    The Trent Aqueduct Rugeley
I recall David McGregor aka Meggie at the age of just 9 years old, being a fearless character. On hot summer days we would often watch him backwards dive from the top of the railings on The Rugeley Aqueduct into the murky waters of The River Trent below. Regardless of the fact, we all new an old pram and discarded fishing line were lurking somewhere in the fast running shallow waters below.
Fortunately for me. David, (of Scottish ancestry) like Wallace, was no good at fighting the English.(lol)

I would also like to mention some River Hamps Fishing friends and former pupils of Waterhouses Secondary Modern School, Waterfall Lane, Waterhouses, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire - Andrew Whitworth, Rodger Sales, Shane Swift, Simon Throw and finally John Jinks a River Severn Fishing Buddy from Hadley, Telford.

If you are one of, or know one of the above people, or were also a childhood friend. I would be grateful if you would submit some comments below.

    Regards
    Mark B

Well Mark, very impressive and yes remember the days at the CUT! as if they were yesterday. Will get together soon. It would be MEGA if we could also track down the Harrisons and see if Bert can still climb as good as me lol.
