The Rifles Visit Telford

The Rifles Regiment will be in town on Saturday 29 May to receive the Freedom of the Borough from Telford & Wrekin Council.

Local residents and visitors will be able to meet with the Rifles from 10:30am onwards in Telford Town Park where the Regiment will be holding a display and arranging activities for people to take part in.

The Freedom Ceremony will follow immediately after the inspection starting at 15:05pm in the Arena at Telford Town Park. At 15:25pm the Parade will form up to march through Telford to exercise their Freedom of the Borough with the Lord Lieutenant taking the salute.

The event is free and there will be free parking at Telford & Wrekin Council Civic Offices all day.
